i need more jewelry

i think jewelry is far too unutilized in fashion and that it needs to be used way more, really, just accessories in general actually..

it’s a little absurd how much small additions can add to an outfit, i love seeing things that hang off clothes like straps or chains, additions to hats, and especially jewelry. rings and bracelets and necklaces can be so badass and can hold so much meaning in such a small item it feels almost ridiculous.

jewelry is also such an interesting market as theres so much you can do. you can put a clock in a ring, make a watch thats a sundial, bracelets that connect to things, necklaces can have so many charms and decorations.

piercings are really cool too, earrings, face piercings, but my favorites are definitely vampire fangs, theyre actually badass

i only have a few pieces of jewelry, most of which i dont usually wear. i recently got a ring that has a clock in it (as mentioned earlier), and id be wearing it more if i didnt accidentally put it through the wash and kill the battery in it while doing so… and if i werent working where it could easily be lost.

ive also got misato’s necklace from neon genesis evangelion, something like this:

another piece i wear if im out is a ring that connects to a bracelet, its a thick silver, though unfortunately the bracelet and ring are quite small, i can only wear it on my pinky for it not to get stuck. still a cool piece though.

lastly, i have a bracelet that was given to me by a good friend, which i wore for 2 years straight since i got it. unfortunately though, the plastic strong broke and i havent managed to fix it yet. i still have every bead, ive just been putting it off for far too long. i’d like to start wearing it daily again.

i have a few things i dont wear as well, a little necklace with a guitar pendant, a conveyor-tread esque bracelet, a few hot topic bracelets, which also have broken, and most likely more im forgetting.

today’s blog was kind of half assed, but i still thought a lot about that last part i wrote
