its been a month

"i can think of one thing i know i want to do"

its been a month since my last blog post, and the people i started blogging with have certainly slowed down too. so, what have i been up to?

school

the big one, school started, which just sort of meant i wasnt doing anything interesting. it takes up a lot of time, and kills my want to do anything since its so draining. #boring

what have i been up to?

since fanexpo, ill write a little bit about some of the notable things ive done, in order most likely.

i went to a friends house and made a nice dip and screwed around. it was a jalapeno chicken cheese dip. i miss it dearly. i want to make it again so bad. it was so good that when i went home i made it again. oughhh…

the portal 2 demos got leaked, which i played through a lot of. its very cool to see all this, cause its quite different from the final game. i still havent finished it, and im not sure ill be able to because ive been busy.

i went on a big walk to see a bunch of cliffs and rocks… they were cliffs and rocks… it was a lot of walking….

i went to elora! its a small town with some cool things, cool stores, whatever. i went and got a glass fish that now hangs from my ceiling, as well as a locket themed after the van gogh painting vase with 12 sunflowers, which ive been keeping a photo in…

i was in a movie! i applied to be an extra in a movie from a director i like, and i got into that! im not sure how much i can talk about it and if they’ll kill me with hammers if i talk further, but, you know, ill talk about it when it comes out. also, i cant help but notice, they havent… paid me? yet? so, we’ll see.

ive been spending even more money on pokemon, and ive pulled some pretty cool cards, too! recently my best was the 30th anniversary illustration rare maushold. very cool.

i went out and did some volunteering with a bunch of my friends, pretty easy work, i dont need to be volunteering but i just wanted to hang out with friends somewhere where we wouldnt usually, and it ended up being really fun.

ive been drinking tea lately, i got a pack of assorted fruit teas, and they’ve been mostly good, ive had raspberry, blueberry, and cherry so far. i am yet to try peach or wildberry. blueberry has been my favourite and cherry is the worst thing in the world

helene

this is something thats kept me busy that i have to give its own category to, just because theres so much i could talk about. this is the same helene of kaliibloggy phone calls and kaliibloggy friends fame.

helene has been the highlight of my day for such a long time now, and especially since we’ve started calling every day. my schedule every weekday now has been something like this: wake up go to school come home call helene fall asleep immedeately after we finish the call

on the weekends, and especially yesterday, we’ve just called all day. i think yesterday we had been on that call for 21 hours, only disconnecting for unforseen reasons of which we would have rather stayed for.

all these calls have been video calls too, which just adds to how much i love them, as if i could love them any less.

there will be times where we have things to talk about, and we could talk for hours on a single topic, we can go through multiple topics, sometimes our conversations will take place on twitter or tumblr as we’re on this video call, and sometimes, we’ll just be silent, staring. id love nothing more than to do that all day. we’ve also done totally nothing together.

we’ve got eachothers main social media, she got twitter and i got tumblr, and we’ve been posting on each of those a lot respectively.
